What you are paying for

A tribute is a one-time voluntary payment to a creator. A game is a paid entry into a run, played live on the creator's stream or on your own screen from their page, where the game determines the final amount you send. The creator receives the amount shown to you. Devotions charges a service fee on top, included in every total you see before you pay.

How a game is charged

When you start a run you pay the entry and your card is saved for that run. Nothing else is taken and nothing is held. When the run ends, what it added is charged to the same card automatically, in one charge. Entry plus that charge can never exceed the maximum shown before you pay. If that charge is declined, the result stands and the amount is owed; your run page shows it with a way to pay.

When you can get a refund

Tributes are voluntary and generally final. Games are a performed service and generally final once played. We refund where the payment was unauthorised, duplicated or charged in error; where the creator removed you from their queue before your turn (your entry is refunded); where a technical fault charged an amount other than the one your run determined; or where the creator asks us to. An entry you do not use is not refunded.

How to ask

Email support with the creator's page name, the approximate time and the amount. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank.

Chargebacks

If you dispute a payment, we respond with the record of what was displayed at checkout and, for a game, the results of the run. Disputed and refunded payments are deducted from the creator's balance.
